STRAIGHT RAZOR is the dark electronic music project of American musician, actor, and artist Omar Doom. Launched in 2013, the project blends industrial, EBM, darkwave, techno, and dark electro into a cinematic sound shaped by pulsing rhythms, brooding synths, and an unmistakable sense of tension. Drawing inspiration from horror film scores, giallo cinema, and electronic body music, STRAIGHT RAZOR creates music that feels equally at home on the dance floor and in the soundtrack to a nightmare.
After debuting with the single Whiskey & Ativan, STRAIGHT RAZOR steadily evolved through a series of EPs, singles, and remixes before expanding into full-length releases on Doom’s own label, Doom Vision Records.
