  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (6 calories)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (5 calories)
  • ¼ tsp salt (0 calories)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (3 calories)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar (28 calories)
  • 1 tbsp honey (64 calories)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and halve the Brussels sprouts, then pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until they are blackened and crispy on the edges.
  4. While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens into a glaze (about 5 minutes).
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the roasted Brussels sprouts. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious, healthy side dish!
