The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is one of Vancouver’s major performing arts venues, located in the heart of the city’s downtown cultural district. Opened in 1959, the theatre hosts a wide range of performances, including concerts, musicals, theatre, dance, comedy, opera, and touring productions.
With seating for more than 2,700 people, it regularly welcomes large-scale productions and internationally known performers while maintaining the feel of a traditional theatre. Over the years, its stage has hosted everything from Broadway productions and classical performances to rock, alternative music, and contemporary live shows.
