Decades after the events of The Talisman, Jack Sawyer is approaching forty and has retired from the LAPD to a small town in Wisconsin. He remembers little of the extraordinary journey he took as a child through the parallel world known as the Territories.
When a series of murders targeting local children terrifies the community, Jack is drawn into the investigation. The latest disappearance soon reveals that something far more dangerous than an ordinary killer is at work.
To save the missing child, Jack must recover the memories he has buried and confront the Territories once again. His search leads toward the mysterious Black House and a powerful evil connected to End-World, bringing his story into the larger mythology of Stephen King’s Dark Tower universe.
