Something is hunting the residents of Tarker’s Mills, Maine. Each month, under the light of the full moon, another person falls victim to a savage attack, leaving the small town frightened and searching for an explanation.
Ten-year-old Marty Coslaw suspects the truth. The killer stalking Tarker’s Mills is a werewolf, and after Marty has an encounter with the creature himself, he may be one of the few people capable of identifying the person behind the monster.
With the help of his uncle, Marty sets out to uncover the werewolf’s human identity and find a way to stop the killings before another full moon brings another victim.
Structured around the twelve months of the year, Cycle of the Werewolf follows the creature’s attacks through the changing seasons as Marty moves closer to confronting it.
