In the Kingdom of Delain, King Roland is murdered and his eldest son, Peter, is accused of the crime. With Peter imprisoned in a tower, the throne passes to his younger brother, Thomas.
Behind the upheaval is Flagg, the king’s powerful magician, who has manipulated the royal family and framed Peter as part of his plan to control the kingdom. While Thomas struggles with his new role, Peter refuses to accept his fate.
From his prison, Peter begins developing an elaborate escape plan that will take years to complete. Outside the tower, his loyal friends search for a way to help him and uncover the truth about Roland’s death.
